I am a physiotherapist who lives and works clinically in Calgary, Alberta. I find the underlying causes of my patient's complex, chronic pain, and then guide them back to a happy, productive, and active life.
My unique assessment and treatment framework is based on my post-graduate training in
Whole Body Assessment (ConnectTherapy tm), Myofascial Release Techniques, and Mindfulness for Pain Relief. I look at the whole person, and all the layers that relate to their pain.
Although every patient’s pain has a different combination of layers and causes, I always begin at the same place: Posture and Body Awareness, or how daily postures + habits can lead to ongoing pain and tension.
And every time a patient learns my simple sitting posture correction (and no, it isn’t to ‘sit straight’), or how to check in on stress and tension levels with a quick Body Scan, they say,
‘That feels AMAZING!’, followed by ‘EVERYONE should learn this!’. And I couldn’t agree more!
So I used my holistic approach to develop The Brain + Body Ergonomics Workshop.
